Today I am co-hosting with Ada for Thursday with Moda.  I love co-hosing, it brings me closer with other bloggers who are not in my area.  I like to think Ada and I have become blog friends.  We comment on each other's posts and support each other.

Reading List

Welcome Back to Book Review!
This book took me a while to get through.  It starts very slow and if the reviews hadn't been so high I would have put this down and walked away.  I am glad I stuck it out.  About 30% into the book (Kindle reader so everything is percentages) it started to come together.  I did like the writing style but she seemed to take a long time to set the tone for the book.  Literally the first several chapters were a woman riding a train with a crazy imagination.  It became a mystery who done it kinda novel.  Very good.  I recommend you read it if you haven't, just be prepared for the beginning to be slow.

DIY Gift Basket

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser.
All opinions are mine alone. #UBKForMe #CollectiveBias
I feel like the art of giving gift baskets has gone away.  There are so many companies out there that have already made gift baskets, which is great but they are impersonal to me.  So I thought I would share how easy it is to make a gift basket.
My husband and I head to Savannah GA this weekend for our Anniversary Trip.  My Cousin is coming to house sit and take care of the fur-babies.  As a welcome I created this gift basket with essentials and some fun things for her!  It's always important to be a gracious hostess especially when you are leaving and your guest is staying!

Weekend Adventures

This weekend was our 12 year wedding anniversary.  A few weeks ago my husband told me about a place you could rent Kayak's and Canoe's that's close to our house.  So we stopped and checked it out.  It was reasonable in price and the Haw River was just amazing.  So we decided to go Kayaking for our anniversary.  We rented a tandem Kayak, packed a lunch, and headed out on an adventure.
The most important part of this excursion was reserving the Kayak!  It was easy to make the request online and the guy sent me a PayPal for the amount.  Simple!  We showed up Sunday morning just before 10, signed in, and helped carry our Kayak to the river.  The guy went over safety and how to paddle, which was needed because neither of us had Kayaked before, and off we went.
It was a learning experience.  We basically zig zagged up river not able to steer without stopping.  It was funny and helped my hubby and I communicate and work together to get the boat in the right direction.  I defiantly would say if you haven't had to rely on someone to help achieve a goal this is not for you.  We did get frustrated at first, then just relaxed and tried to work together.  A good exercise even after 12 years of marriage!

Shopping List

I know everyone is sharing their #NSale items.  I thought I would be different and share my SheIn wish list.  With pricing so affordable it's hard not to purchase one of everything!

First I want to share this dress again which is from SheIn
Not sure if you remember I posted this as my Easter Brunch outfit.
